Possibly the first X5M with a forged carbon fibre interior in the UK ? Installing a forged carbon fibre wrap from Hexis on the interior of my BMW e70 X5M.

The brushed aluminium trim was starting to show it's age, it marks really easily and had in some places actually delaminated from the mount.

To do this properly you reallly need to remove the pieces from the car so you can wrap around them and get full coverage. The only piece I couldn't work out how to remove was the glove box trim, I had to wrap this in situ.

By far the most painful part was remove the centre console trim. There are two screws holding the knee bolsters in place that you need to get to right at the front of the console, they're tucked right under the dash making it a very tight squeeze. I got lucky, (if you can call it that?) as the really impossible one on the pasenger side was actually broken so I only had to remove two screws on that side. It is possible to wrap these in situ by simply removing the front two bolster screws to give you room to tuck the wrap under.

Don't under-estimate how long this all takes, it's quite a laborious process, it took me about three weekends in total inbetween family duties.
