On ground, we come across bundle of project events, outcomes or project risks. It is important to learn their mutual relationship among them so that we can learn cause and effect influence of those bundle of items among themselves. This way, we can contribute to better decision making.
Influence diagrams act as a graphical aid to decision making under uncertainty. They provide cause and effect relationship among multiple project risks, project events or project outcomes. Thus, they contribute to better decision making by depicting what comes first, what comes next in a graphical time scale sequence.
In this session, we shall understand the importance of Influence diagram using couple of examples.
