From being adopted and growing up in an abusive household, to experiencing his parents divorce many times, Isaac has always unavoidably had a shaky family life. Instead of turning his back on blood relatives, Isaac searched for individuals that he chose to love to become a part of his makeshift family. As a result, he learned what kinship means to him: something possibly stronger than any familial bond. Isaac is a seventeen-year old boy, who immigrated from Mexico at a young age. Throughout his life, he has overcome seemingly insurmountable hardships by using his negative emotions as fuel for his motivation and pursuit of endless learning. To this day, Isaac spends much of his time reading, studying foreign languages, and enjoying himself with the people he loves. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at [ Ссылка ]
