Here is an improvisation from Pierre Cochereau at Notre Dame. I have all of Cochereau’s albums, and yet I cannot identify this particular one or what album it came from. I first saw it on one of the menu screens for the Cochereau documentary released by Solstice FY, but have yet to locate which album its on. And so I am sharing it here in the hopes that maybe someone else can identify which album this appears on, and to get it if I dont have it. I have always liked this particular (Scherzo perhaps?) one, because it embodies everything French in 3 minutes.
