Each Pikmin game seems to get bigger bosses that use their environment more, and I expect this trend to continue into the upcoming Pikmin 4 for Nintendo Switch! This video explores each mainline entry from the original Pikmin on GameCube and Wii through the most recent Pikmin 3 on Wii U and Switch and touches on how the boss fights have expanded between each game.

Notes:
- Yes, I counted the mamuta as a boss despite it not having internal data suggesting so, unlike the other Pikmin 1 bosses.
- Yes, I’m aware that certain terrain, such as candypop buds and geysers, technically count as bosses in the files. No, they’re not bosses, that’s just the nature of mislabeled technical files for you.
- I am aware that I left out Pikmin 3 Deluxe. I know it has “new” mini bosses, but they’re basically reused, but they do have bigger feet!
- Yes, I know this video is somewhat mired with audio issues. I did my best to work around them, and I learned a lot in the process. Those issues should be fixed by the next video.
