This short Tassomai tutorial video explains how to use Pythagoras' theorem calculate the perimeter of a triangle.
It will help you learn and revise content required for all major GCSE specifications including AQA, OCR, Edexcel, Edexcel IGCSE and WJEC.
3 key facts to remember about calculating the perimeter of a triangle:
1- In order to find the perimeter of a triangle, we must know the lengths of all of its sides.
2- In order to find a side of a triangle, we can rearrange the formula a²+b²=c² (with c=the length of the hypotenuse).
3- After we know our lengths, we can add all of the lengths of our sides together to get our perimeter.
