upgrade checkpoint cluster
(without replacing the machine)
preperation
- backup configuration
- backup tgz file
- verify the cluster is stable
- verify connectivity between cluster member and between dns, ntp, next hope routers, goggle dns
- download the upgrade file and import to the smart console
- take screenshot of the interfaces and topology from the cluster object on the management server
down time:
- Upgrade the cluster via the smart console
- install policy
- verify (again) connectivity between cluster member and between dns, ntp, next hope routers, goggle dns
