The first of a three part series from our 35 day trek through the Nepal Himalaya. In part one we trek the Manaslu Circuit from Arughat to Dharapani, where we join the Annapurna Circuit route (Part Two - [ Ссылка ]). The wonderfully diverse Manaslu Circuit trek takes around two weeks, starting at low altitude and hiking up to 5106m over the Larke Pass (Larke La/Larkya La).
The scenery is spectacular, and ever changing. Lush green rice fields, forests and waterfalls are abundant on the first couple of days, followed by snowy mountain views and the starkly beautiful Larke La Pass. The trek takes you through Tibetan influenced villages, where you can visit monasteries and experience Tibetan culture.
After some trekking on roads initially, the Manaslu Circuit trek largely follows trails, making for an ideal trekking experience (especially compared to something like the Annapurna Circuit). You are required to trek with a guide, and there are plenty of basic lodges (also called teahouses) along the way.
