Scientists discovered new earth like planet with is just 23 light years away from our earth. This exoplanet is a super earth planet. It is much bigger than earth and is 5 times more massive. It is orbiting a red dwarf star named Gliese 677 C, which is actually a part of a triple star system. Other two stars are actually somewhat similar to our sun in terms of size. The entire triple star system is much larger than our solar system. Scientists think there might be a possibility of alien life to exist in this planet. Because this is one of the most earth like planet we have ever discovered. This planet have the earth similarity index of 0.85. This means it is about 85% similar to our earth.
