The Minx Tractor Works, or MTV, is the latest of serial fires and explosions in Russia and allied nations in recent weeks, many of which have occurred at large, and often symbolic, companies and shopping malls.
From the Pulkovskoye Highway that runs parallel to the MTV, the 400 square meter fire appeared brighter than the bright sunlit sky.
At the time of the fire, Russian state media stated there were people in the building, and that only two were killed.
