This is the third progression in my training for roll spike. The left leg is held at parallel, or near parallel, relative to the ground, while the right leg jumps, bends at the knee, and travels above and over the left leg. Executed Correctly, the body is parallel/near parallel to the ground. Use the hands to cushion your landing and end in a tripod stance.
Tips: lean upper body back upon take off. A little arm swing may help with getting morr height. Think about lifting your left leg high and extend it straight in front of you. This will force you to lean your upper body back to get over the top. Put both hands down when landing to help cushion the fall.
