Several unique innovative features have been incorporated into this proprietary product to make it the ideal solution when tasked with the fabrication of flats and bulbs specifically required in the shipbuilding.
The Tipo D 50 P incorporates one high performance “Direct Drive” drill spindle that can accept up to six different tools automatically with an integrated tool changer.
The automatic brush ensures quick chips removal and helps to keep the working area clean.
The thermal cutting unit consists in one plasma torch, which can provided both speed and versatility when processing miscellaneous profiles. The high-definition Hypertherm plasma torch can be incorporated into a programmable bevel head to achieve diverse cutting applications such as weld prep.
Additional capabilities such as part marking can be integrated into the line. Marking can be achieved with either an ink jet system or a fully programmable marking press.
This unique product has the ability to go from a stock length flat or bulb to a finished part automatically and without the need to handle material from one operation to the next.
A positive rack and pinion material positioning system generates industry leading accuracy and speed. The carriage positioning system enables full automation including automatic stock length loading, measuring, discharge of finished parts and the removal of the scrap or drops while maximizing material utilization. This unique level of automation permits one attendant to monitor the production of several lines.
