Jimmy Dimora was released from prison last year for health reasons, 11 years after his sentencing on corruption charges that roiled Cuyahoga County and led to a change in its form of government. The former county commissioner and Democratic Party boss insisted he did nothing illegal. He was to remain in home confinement until 2030, but his sentence is over now, commuted along with nearly 1,500 others by President Joe Biden.
We'll cover the Dimora saga this hour, then dig in to other top news of the week including the alarming number of child deaths in Cuyahoga County, up 25 percent in 2023 over the previous year.
