Day 8 of Making Healthy Desserts: Healthier Chocolate Donuts (vegan & gluten-free)🤩 These donuts are such an easy and yummy dessert idea! They are super fudgy and chocolaty😋 If you aren’t coeliac or intolerant to gluten, you can of course use wheat flour in these!☺️

this recipe makes about 10 donuts

Ingredients:
2 bananas
3 tablespoons maple syrup
1/2 cup smooth peanut butter (120 ml) (I use a pb that is 100% made of peanuts)
1/2 cup gluten-free flour mix (120 ml)
1/4 cup unsweetened cacao powder (60 ml)
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup almond milk (120 ml)

topping:
vegan dark chocolate chips (melted)
optional: sprinkles or shredded coconut

1. Add all the ingredients into a blender and mix until smooth. (If you don’t have a blender, you can of course first just mash the bananas in a bowl, then add the rest of the ingredients and stir to combine)
2. Scoop the batter into greased donut pan cavities
3. Bake at 180 Celsius degrees (350 in Fahrenheit) for about 12-15 minutes
4. Let the donuts cool in the pan for 5-10 minutes before carefully removing them
5. Finish by dipping the cooled donuts in melted dark chocolate and add some sprinkles on top if you like
6. Store in the fridge
