Ras malai or rossomalai(Bengali- রসমালাই) is a dessert originating from the eastern regions of the Indian subcontinent. The dessert is called rossomalai in Bengali language, ras malai in Hindi language.
Though Ras Malai is made in different places, of them Comilla District in Bangladesh and Kolkata in Indian state of West Bengal are known prominently.
The Sen brothers of Comilla under the "Matri Bhandar" brand also claim to be the original maker of the dessert. Bangladesh has begun the process of registering Geographical indication (GI) for Rasmalai.

INGREDIENTS :
Chana-1 Cup
Water 5/6 cup for sugar syrup
Sugar -2 cup for sugar syrup
milk-1 litter for milk syrup
Sugar 1/2 +2 tbs for milk syrup
Heavy cream -1/2 litter for milk syrup
3 tb sugar for caramel
