This shows the entrance on to the A38 southbound at Kennford. It is a long, relatively straight road so it is easy to be picking up speed before you have given yourself time to have a good look at what is on the A38 and whether it is safe to join. Then to follow the signs for ~Plymouth you need to manoeuvre the car into the middle lane as soon as it safe to do so.
