PHNOM PENH: Cambodia is investing billions of dollars in a series of expressway projects, with the goal of improving transportation and boosting economic growth.

The first expressway, the Phnom Penh-Sihanoukville Expressway, was inaugurated in November 2022. The 187-kilometer expressway cost $2 billion to build and is expected to reduce travel time between the two cities by half.
