American commentator Joe Rogan's podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, is facing backlash after musicians Neil Young and Joni Mitchell asked Spotify to take their music down from the platform in protest of Rogan's show, claiming it spreads COVID-19 misinformation. Rogan posted a video message to his Instagram on Sunday addressing the controversy and defending his podcast. Spotify said in a post penned by CEO Daniel Ek that they will now add "content advisory" warnings at the beginning of any podcast episode discussing COVID-19.
