The 4 Quls are the four foundational chapters of the Quran. Each chapter contains a different interpretation. The 4 Surahs that start with the “Qul” are called the 4 Qul. These four Surahs are called the 4 Quls of Islam.

Surah Al-Kafirun, the 109th chapter of the Holy Quran, comprises 6 verses. It is equal to one-quarter of the whole of the Quran.

Surah Iklas is the comprehensive definition of tauheed. It is the 112th chapter of the Holy Quran and consists of 4 verses. It explains who Allah is and knows it well enough for us to be safe from disbelief. Reciting three times Surah Ikhlas is equal to the recitation of the whole of the Quran.

Surah Al Falq called Al-Muawwidhatayn “The Refuges” because we seek refuge from different evils. The Surah al-Falaq guides how to seek the protection of Allah Almighty from the black magic and evil eye. The 113th chapter of the Quran contains 5 Ayahs.

Surah Nas is the last (114th) chapter of the Quran. It is called Mecci Surah because it is revealed in Mecca when the Holy Prophet (SAW) suffers from the harmful effects of the magic spell by Labeeb ibn Asam.
