Getting my 6 months old baby into the habit of having vegetables at every meal. This is an easy recipe to make.
Sweet potatoes and spinach are both superfoods, so combining them in this puree provides a nutrition packed meal for babies. This combination is rich in iron, calcium, vitamins and antioxidants.
In a medium pot with a steamer insert, bring water to simmer. Add the Sweet potato/Spinach. Cover and steam until tender.
Transfer steamed Sweet potato/Spinach to a blender or food processor. Puree until smooth. Adjust the texture by adding a little breast milk, formula or water to achieve the desired consistency.
