Not a better way to start the new year: today's weather is perfect for some VFR buzzing around northern Italy. I know I'm kinda boring but I don't give a single f***, this is what I enjoy the most. Bit of round trip, from LIMB to LIMB with a fuel stop in Casale Monferrato LILM (gas getting pricy). Easy peasy route planning: out of RW18 right turn over Niguarda Hospital towards Rho, then Abbiategrasso, Vigevano and Mortara. Time to descent to 1500 ft not to mess with the Lomellina Restricted airspace (being shot down by some EFA2000 not an option): military activity is now H24 holidays included (I wonder how the parachuting activity in Casale will be affected by this). Standard left circuit for RW36, nice soft field landing. Fueled up and we're back in the air coming back in the sunset. Bit of ATC online, always nice.
