Tonight, the Ayr Gaiety theatre is hosting a gala concert for Ukraine, featuring folk stars and a special performance from a Ukranian refugee. The event comes as the Scottish Government pauses its refugee sponsorship programme due to a lack of suitable accommodation. So far, 7,000 Ukrainians have arrived in Scotland with more expected in the coming months.
