The USA Cycling Cyclocross Nationals took place in Bend, Oregon on December 10-13th, 2009. The bike race event features a festival atmosphere with parties, bike artwalks and flim festivals and the popular Clydesdale Race featuring an icy night race on the main course for those who are of a larger stature than most. Clydesdale racers were cheered on and beered on by the crowd. The last day before the Elite race, the racers and crowd were amped up by the beat of drummers.
