Justice Yahya Afridi was sworn in as the 30th Chief Justice of Pakistan on Saturday during an oath-taking ceremony at the President House in Islamabad. President Asif Ali Zardari administered the oath, and Justice Afridi will serve for three years, until October 26, 2027.
