In this video, Kevin Dewalt from Prolego talks about the emerging field of prompt engineering, which involves writing inputs into large language models to get desired outputs. He believes that while it's a valuable skill, it's not as difficult as some claim it to be. Prompt engineering can be divided into two domains: application in system design and usage of ChatGPT as an interface. Dewalt thinks that the former is a challenging problem that requires good system design and creative engineers. On the other hand, the latter involves good writing and problem-solving skills and can be learned through practice.
