Mayor Ballard and other elected officials celebrated the rebirth of Community Hospital East on Wednesday, August 19.
The groundbreaking begins the second phase of the $175 million project: the construction of a new hospital tower, housing inpatient and outpatient procedure rooms, and a new emergency department for Community Hospital East.
