This was the third flight of my New York trip, heading back to Europe. I had flown the A340-600 on the MUC-JFK leg and this JFK-FRA leg was with the A340-300. I am so grateful to have gotten the opportunity to cross both A340s off my list in one trip before they are retired. I now just have the 757 which I am trying to work into the summer before Jet2 retire them. Wish me luck!

I'm still perfecting my filming skills as I am aware there was quite a lot of vibration in this recording. I will also be perfecting my editing skills as well as adding more details such as footage actually in the airport giving a better look at the flying experience. I don't know if I have the storage for doing full flights but I might try it on some of my short haul trips in future.

The flight itself was very good. There had been a strike the day prior so the flight was very empty. All the passengers were offered middle rows to seep on but I declined as I wanted to film the flight. The crew were brilliant and very friendly but I do feel that the A340-300 economy class seats were a little less comfortable than the A340-600.
