Bangladeshi nationals need to apply to the South African High Commission in New Delhi for a South Africa visa from Bangladesh. First of all, the applicant must submit to South Africa VFS, New Delhi to get a South Africa visa from Bangladesh.

South Africa Tourist visa
1. Passport: The applicant needs an original passport to submit. At least six months of validity the passport should have after the intended date of departure. The applicant’s current passport must have two empty/blank pages for the visa stamp. If the applicant has an old passport, he/she has to include that also.
2. Visa Application Form: Visa Application form must be filled with all the proper information. The form must be signed by the applicant. Visa application form-11 (DHA-84) – must be completed in black ink and block letters.
3. Photograph: Applicant must submit two passport-sized photographs. The photograph must be taken recently with a white background and with 60%-70% face coverage. The photograph size should be 35 x 45 mm. Photographs should not be more than six months old and have no border.
4. Cover Letter: A personal letter from the applicant including personal details, the purpose of the visit, and outlining who will be responsible for the full costs of the trip. The letter should be addressed to – The Visa Office and signed by the applicant. The letter should be addressed to The Visa Officer, Embassy of South Africa, New Delhi. The Visa category must be mentioned in the subject line.
5. ID Card: A personal identity card of the applicant. It can be the National ID card Driving license or business card.
6. Invitation Letter from Tour Operator/Trip Itinerary: Applicant needs a day-by-day tour plan. The tour plan is confirmed by a licensed tour operator or a travel agency.
7. Forwarding Letter from employer: A letter from the employer on the organization’s letterhead pad stating the applicant’s name, designation, passport number, applicant purpose and assigned roles during the visit, duration of the visit, contact details, and other necessary details.
8. NOC/LOI: The applicant needs to submit a letter of the organization’s letterhead pad. The letter contains the applicant’s contact details. Stating that a leave of absence has been granted. The letter also includes the purpose and duration of the trip and that the applicant will be returning to his/her current job as per schedule.
9. Personal Bank Statements: The applicant must submit his/her personal bank statement for the last six months. He/She also needs to mention the Bank’s name and telephone number with an authorized bank stamp and signature.
10. Travel Health Insurance: Applicant must submit original and valid certificate/card for yellow fever vaccination acquired at least 10 days before applicant’s scheduled travel date. The certificate remains valid for 10 years.
11. SA Bank Statement: The applicant needs a South African Bank statement. Bank statements need a SA stamp and signed by SA Police and SA Bank.
12. Marriage certificate: Applicant must submit his/her marriage certificate where applicable. (Applicant needs to carry the Original Marriage Certificate at the time of submission at the VFS center for verification purposes)
13. Birth Certificate: If applicants go with his/her children he/she need to submit a child’s birth certificate. The certificate must be translated into English.
14. Divorce Certificate (Talak Namah): If the applicant has a divorce, the applicant must submit a divorce certificate (Talak Namah). The certificate must be translated into English.
15. Death Certificate: If the applicant’s husband or wife has died, the applicant needs to submit the death certificate of his/her husband or wife. The certificate must be translated into English.
16. Police Clearance Certificate: Applicants need to submit an original Police Clearance Certificate from the applicant’s nearby police station of his/her present address.
If the applicant has a previous criminal record, any arrest or conviction anywhere the applicants also need to submit the travel health insurance.
17. Airline Ticket Itinerary: A reserved itinerary for the applicant’s airline ticket as per the schedule of the trip.
18. Hotel Reservation: A reserved itinerary for the applicant’s accommodation. He/She needs to mention the hotel or resort as per the schedule of the trip.
