How to burn a brush pile . . . the joys of rural living!
One of the joys of living in a rural area, is the freedom to burn brush or leaves. Restrictions are in place during a burn ban, but this year has been very wet and the dew in the mornings is thick. As stated in the video, I use diesel and 50/50 fuel. Use the 50/50 fuel with caution because it is dangerous. Today was a good day to burn because the wind was nonexistent. I only used the water to extinguish the fire after about two hours of burning. Whatever you do, make sure you put the fire completely out. I soak the spot with water and then use a rake to turn over the soil in case a spark or some ashes are hiding beneath the debris. I rather be safe than sorry.
Thanks for watching . . .
