Francis Salatielu aka "Tielu" Brown a professional Fireknife dancer and teacher, and the Worlds First Jr. Fireknife Champion in 1995. Son of Chief Savea Sione Brown and Faasuamalie Tiatia Brown. Tielu started learning the Siva Afi at a very young age from his Uncle Ropati Tiatia. At the age of 11 he competed in his first competition and Laie's Polynesian Cultural Center first ever World Fire Knife Competition and took 1st place. 16 years after his Championship, Tielu is now the Male Director of Choreography for Taimanuta Legacy, a Polynesian dance group/school in Las Vegas, NV under the direction of his sister Tusi "Koose" Liti. Taimanuta Legacy offers weekly dance lessons in all of the Polynesian islands and in the art of Fireknife Dancing.
