Well I figured I would upload this sooner or later since it has been 280 has been in the junk yard for some time.
When 280 was in service it wasn’t really a regular until Richard lost 185 due to some type of rear axle issue, since 280 was a frontline spare he took it up as his “new” truck.
He got back from vacation and they informed him that they sent 280 to the junk yard, but there was nothing wrong with it, only problem is the age. From that point on Richard was in 37182 then that was in the process of being junked (still is) and now he is in 37183.
Like I said before it’s not that these units are bad it is just their age, hence why other companies are buying them since they don’t really have a 15+ year limit with equipment they buy.
