I met Gary Vaynerchuk and then dedicated 3 years of my life to document the process of trying to get a job at Vayner Media in New York and once I landed an interviewed with the company, they asked if I had a greencard for working in the States which I didn’t and at that moment, my goal got shattered into pieces, or at least that’s what I thought. As time went by, I suddenly saw an opening at Vayner Media again when they announced that they were now, for the first time, searching for creators globally. This was my big chance and I went all in, creating 3 pieces of content for them and asking my community to support me and the response was amazing! Vayner Media booked another interview with me, and I was way more confident this time but after a couple of weeks without response, I reached out again. After getting some more information about the role expectations and the salary I slowly realized that I’ve outgrown my 4 year old goal and I decided to not proceed with the application process. My focus was now on my YouTube channel and the ambition to grow a successful business around that but it has been a very educational journey and for me and it was just simply time to move on but i will never forget when…
