It was in that time, long, long ago between the picture of a girl sitting on the sofa, smiling, long thick dark braids hanging down each side of her face - and that other picture of her smiling at a railway station, hair flying loose, carrying a bulky suitcase with all of her belongings and wearing the new clothes she had bought to set her off into her new life.
Two images and a gap of a several years.
There seems to be a lot which has fallen through that gap.
