The Eihatsu Maru, a 50 metre long Japanese fishing trawler, ran aground on Clifton 1st Beach in front of some of Cape Town's most expensive real estate, on Saturday 12 May 2012. Here she is on the afternoon Sunday, 13 May. In the background a small tug waits, and the larger John Ross/Z-Tug is on standby off Sea Point for high tide and appropriate conditions to pull her free.
