In this lecture, we will cover Class 6 civics NCERT chapter 6. "Rural Administration"
In chapter 6, we will discuss details about 2 important roles in rural administration - maintaining law and order, and managing land records. Under this, we will also understand the roles of the Station house officer (S.H.O) and the Patwari. Apart from that, we'll study how senior officers of the revenue department supervise the work of the Patwari. Then, we'll study the supervision chart in a district for maintaining land records in rural areas. All points have been explained in a very simple and lucid manner.
