Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addressed devotees in Ayodhya on the occasion of Deepotsav 2021.
While addressing the gathering, Adityanath recalled Ayodhya massacre in 1990. "Those who were firing on Ram Bhakts, have now bowed down", he said.
Ayodhya has been decked up for a grand Deepotsav -- the festival of lights. From 51,000 diyas 5 years ago, the Uttar Pradesh government will light 12 lakh earthen lamps, nine lakh of which will be lit on the banks of the Saryu, bettering the previous Diwali record.
