Former Real Madrid president Lorenzo Sanz has died after being hospitalized with corona virus.
The 76 year old was taken to hospital on Thursday after an eight-day fever before succumbing to the virus last night. Sanz presided over Madrid as president from 1995-2000 where he led the club to win two champions league titles and one La Liga crown.
