I don’t know why everyone makes this so difficult. It’s not a complicated process. Here is a super easy simplified way to load and unload your firearm.
First, ALWAYS follow the safety rules(see below) when handling a fire arm!
Unloading:
1. Remove the source of feed.
2. Lock the slide/bold to the rear.
3. Conduct a 3-point inspection of the chamber, slide/bolt face, and in the magazine well.
Loading:
1. Remove the source of feed.
2. Lock the slide/bold to the rear.
3. Conduct a 3-point inspection of the chamber, slide/bolt face, and in the magazine well.
4. Insert magazine and drop the slide/bolt watching a round be chambered. (Conduct a press check if you want #presschecksarefree).
1- Always point your weapon in a safe direction.
2- Always treat weapons as if they are loaded.
3- Never point your weapon at anything you don’t intend to destroy.
4- Finger off the trigger until you are ready to engage your target.
5- Know what’s behind, beyond and to the left and right of your target
7- ID your holster when returning your weapon into your holster.
