This clip shows Dorcha on the nest at 03.51, peacefully incubating her eggs, when seemingly out of nowhere she's struck by a Tawny Owl at 03.51.46. It's a hard hit, and nearly knocks her off the nest. Feathers are still flying as the owl is seen circling round and flying off. Dorcha is unharmed, utters some low warning calls, and settles back down on her eggs.
