Jenner, California
AKA Jenner-by-the-Sea, is a small coastal town and census-designated place (CDP) with a population of about 136 in Sonoma County, California. Historically, Jenner was part of the Rancho Muniz. The town’s namesake, Dr. Elijah K. Jenner, was a dentist and inventor from Vermont. When his son Charles K. was born in 1846, the family was living in Wisconsin. Elijah came west in 1850 and sought his fortune in the California goldfields.
It is located on the Pacific coast near the mouth of the Russian River. State Route 1 runs through the town and State Route 116 runs nearby, along the Russian River.

-Duncans Mills (or Duncan's Mills), California

An unincorporated community located in Sonoma County, California. Duncans Mills was named for two brothers, Samuel and Alexander Duncan who established a lumber mill in the early 1870’s. During that time and into the 1890’s the brothers logged the redwoods which were sent by boat to San Francisco to build its wooden Victorians.
Located five miles inland from the Sonoma Coast.

Bodega Head is a four-mile-long peninsula just south of the Bodega Dunes and north of Bodega Harbor. It features a boat launch area, many pocket beaches, and stunning cliff views from several coastline trails.
