I made this video back in late spring and it was so interesting to see how much I've improved since then. You really can get better with practice. I added moss, some rocks, and crystals to the soil which added a mystical feel to the bonsai design. I gave this bonsai to my niece and family. It's doing well, grew strong over the summer, and it didn't loss any branch from the styling. I strongly recommend buying some cheap juniper nursery stock and practice turning them into bonsai. It's super fun. It's helpful to watch various YouTube channels to get different ideas for how to style a nursery stock juniper into a bonsai tree. or pre-bonsai. It helps to start with such cheap material so you're not afraid to make mistakes and learn from them.
