About 450,000 of the world’s population suffer from multi-resistant tuberculosis (TB), but in 2013 only a little under 100,000 people received treatment. This type of TB resists the main antibiotics used to treat the disease. Fortunately, two new TB drugs, bedaquilin and delamanide, give hope to drug-resistant patients. In April of 2015 Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) and partners launched a project that aims to discover a precise treatment using these drugs. Read more: [ Ссылка ]
