This is none other than Ibn-e-battuta. He was one of the first travellers in world history - a century before Marco Polo.
Ibn-e-Battuta was a medieval Muslim who wrote one of the world's most famous travel logs, the Riḥlah. Covering all cultural details of people across and beyond Islamic world.
Over his lifetime, he visited around 40 present-day countries. One of the famous event while Ibn Battuta traveled to the court in Delhi, India, was 82 Hindu bandits attacked his group of 22; Ibn Battuta and his men drove them off, killing 13 of the thieves.
Battuta traveled the known world and offers important insight into society and culture.
He served as an inspiration for explorers in the later Age of Exploration.
