Queensland researchers are trialling a vaccine that could eliminate the need for the annual flu jab if successful.
Mater Research hopes the new vaccine will be effective against parts of the flu which are less likely to mutate, eliminating the need for yearly shots.
If successful the new jab could improve influenza vaccination rates.
