Spis Castle in Slovakia, one of the largest castles in Central Europe, is home to many legends. One of these is the ghost of the castle, Lady Helena, who owned the castle in the 16th century. Helena was a beautiful woman but very jealous. When her husband fell in love with another woman, Helena decided to kill him.
One night, Helena summoned her husband to one of the castle's towers and killed him. When Helena's crime was revealed, she was thrown into the dungeon of the castle and died there.
Since then, Helena's ghost is said to haunt the castle. It is said that he was sometimes seen wandering around the towers or corridors of the castle.
