We visited India in the second week of June for 2 weeks, particularly south India and some special places of Kerala, which is called the God's green country. On June 19th, 2023, we left the quiet peaceful village of Agonda for the backwaters of Palolem to do bird watching. It was a special moment for me.
We have never seen beautiful red kites in one spot. We also spotted a beautiful kingfisher. That was also my seconnd time to have come across a colorful tiny king fisher. Our boat captain explained some facts about these backwater wild birds. Even the house crows of south India are good-looking with grey-bluish neck feathers. Red kites of Indian backwaters are amazing.
