Former Umno secretary-general, Annuar Musa, has explained his decision to join PAS, a long-time rival.
Annuar highlighted that despite not holding federal power, PAS enjoys significant support from the Malay-Muslim community.
He also commended PAS for its unwavering commitment to the Islamic struggle.
Annuar confirmed his membership application submission to PAS on May 20, which was sent a few months ago and is currently awaiting approval.
