Long Term Care is something we seriously need to consider. When there's this big of a risk of needing it, it makes sense to put the risk on an insurance company.

Long Term Care is not something you want to think about when you need it. It does take some planning.

When the odds are over 70% that we are going to need Long Term Care (LTC) its a conversation we need to have before we need it.

Chances are between you and your spouse, at least one of you is going to need it.

The risk if we dont?

The government will seize your assets. What you wanted to leave to your spouse, kids, and family will now go to Long Term Care. So either we prepare for it, or we don't. Either way we are going to pay for it.
