Egg binding is a very serious condition in female birds that could take their lives if you dont act quick enough. In this video I will show you the steps you need to take in order to save your bird from dying if they are egg bound.
keep in mind that there are other methods aswell to help your bird out and this one that I show in the video should be as a last resort in case of an emergency. Most egg bound hens will be able to pass the egg if you put them in a hospital cage and add heat and humidity. Unfortunately this wasnt the case with this hen her condition was more severe and she didnt have enough energy to pass the egg on her own so this method of extracting the egg was used.
