Having a gap between your two front teeth (aka a “diastema”) is completely normal! Oftentimes a diastema is caused by tight skin between your two front teeth (which is genetic and congenital).
However, SOMETIMES gaps can be created because of gum disease, extra teeth, or tooth loss in later years in life.
But…again most of the time it is from normal genetics — it’s just how you were born!
